Hearing aid repair service, often while you wait
Many minor repairs and cleanings are done while you wait. If your hearing aid needs a part or a fix we cannot do in the clinic, we send it to the manufacturer and keep you posted. If it is still under warranty, we deal with the manufacturer for you.
Any brand, wherever you bought it
We service most makes and models, including Oticon, Phonak, Signia, ReSound, Starkey, Widex, Unitron and Bernafon, and we repair hearing aids you bought somewhere else. If your hearing aid is beyond repair, we can walk you through your hearing aid options.
Quick checks before you come in
- Check the wax guard. A clogged wax guard is the most common reason a hearing aid sounds weak, muffled or distorted. Swap in a new one first.
- Check the power. Try a fresh battery, or make sure the charging pins on a rechargeable aid and its charger are clean.
- Look for damage or moisture. Cracks in the casing, tubing or receiver wire, or a battery door that will not close, all need a repair visit.
